Poker players in Macau will have a new tournament to look foward to as the Poker King Club has announced the date of its next event.

The poker room has announced that the second edition of the Macau Poker Challenge will be held on June 6 at the eighth floor of the StarWorld Hotel and Casino. The event is guaranteeing a HK $250,000 prize pool with the buy-in set at HK $2,750 + HK $250.

The first Macau Poker Challenge was held on March 7 at the same venue. It featured a guaranteed prize pool of HK $200,000 and was won by Hong Kong’s Weng Hong Hoi, who bested a field of 143 players to take home the crown and first prize of HK $116,800.

Aside from the Macau Poker Challenge, the club also holds bigger events such as the Asian Poker King Tournament. The last one, which guaranteed HK $1,000,000 was won by Hong Kong player Elton Tsang. He took home HK$ 553,600 for finishing as the champion.
