The Philippines' poker scene is on the upswing. Last month, we saw several poker tournaments with million-Peso guaranteed prize pools. But it has not stopped there as the Resorts World Manila Inaugural Poker Championships with a guaranteed prize pool of PhP 2,000,000 will be held this April. The tournament is scheduled from April 16 to 19, 2010.
The buy–in of PhP 10,000 + PhP 1,000 is not the only way to get into the money. Players have a number of satellite tournaments to choose from to be the First Resort’s World Manila Poker Champion.
